ENDODONTIC SOLUTIONS:HANDS-ON WORKSHOP
Thursday, November 6, 2014 1:30pm-4:30pm (MUST HAVE ATTENDED MORNING LECTURE) (3 CE hrs) Exhibit
Floor Limited to 30 participants.
As a participant in this hands on workshop, you will become
familiar with the use of the “apex last” approach to canal shaping with
nickel-titanium instrumentation using the TF™ (Twisted File) Adaptive NiTi
System, using Adaptive Motion Technology. Predictable irrigation protocols
using Apical Negative Pressure utilizing
the EndoVac™ Irrigation Delivery System, and vertical condensation of thermo-softened
gutta percha using the continuous wave of vertical condensation and the
Elements™ Obturation System will also be taught. Attendees must provide a selection of extracted pre-accessed fully developed teeth including at least two maxillary pre molars that are soaked in full strength bleach for 24 hours. All canals should be negotiated to the apex with a #10 hand file. Loupes and headlamps should also be brought for maximum visualization.

Gary
Glassman, DDS, FRCD(C) graduated from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry
in 1984, and graduated from the Endodontology Program at Temple University in
1987, where he received the Louis I. Grossman Study Club Award for academic and
clinical proficiency in endodontics. The author of numerous publications, Dr.
Glassman lectures globally on endodontics, is on staff at the University of
Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry in the graduate department of endodontics, and is
adjunct professor of dentistry and director of Endodontic Programming for the
University of Technology, Jamaica.
Dr. Glassman is a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada,
Fellow of the American College of Dentists, and the endodontic editor for Oral
Health Dental Journal. He maintains a private practice, Endodontic Specialists
in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Dr. Glassman (or an immediate family member) has a significant relationship with the following commercial organization whose product he will refer to in this presentation: Axis/SybronEndo.
