Individualized Endodontics Participation & Lecture Workshop " mano a mano " ![]() Thursday-Friday, May 10-11, 2012 This popular hands-on CE program is unique. You will have
one-on-one individual instruction by endodontic residents with graduate faculty
in consultation. If your endodontics is advanced or if just need to get going
again, this course will help you. You have the freedom to select which aspects
of endodontic treatment you would like to focus on. The course will be clinically oriented with brief didactic
components to introduce the some of the materials and techniques that can be
covered. Most of the course will take place in the Post Graduate Endodontic
Clinic. There will be instruction with and without the microscope. Tutoring in
cleaning and shaping, obturation, retreatment, post removal, perforation repair
and more is all available. is This course is presented by faculty and residents
of the UB School of Dental Medicine, Division of Endodontics. You may choose to focus on any or all of the following
topics... * Access preparation * Finding canals * Cleaning and shaping with hand files and/or rotary instrumentation * Obturation with mechanical warm vertical condensation
techniques * Retreatment * Perforation repair * Ultrasonics and post retrieval * Use of the operating microscope as it relates to
non-surgical root canal therapy Please bring any extracted teeth in any condition if at all
possible. We ask you to autoclave the teeth then store in 50% water and 50%
mouthwash. DO NOT STORE IN BLEACH, the
teeth will decalcify. Do not let the teeth dry out, they will desiccate and
fracture. Participants should bring loops, WE WILL PROVIDE EVERYTHING ELSE. This course is truly worth the
