This popular hands-on CE program is unique. You will have one-on-one individual instruction by endodontic residents with graduate faculty in consultation. If your endodontics is advanced or if just need to get going again, this course will help you. You have the freedom to select which aspects of endodontic treatment you would like to focus on.

The course will be clinically oriented with brief didactic components to introduce the some of the materials and techniques that can be covered. Most of the course will take place in the Post Graduate Endodontic Clinic. There will be instruction with and without the microscope. Tutoring in cleaning and shaping, obturation, retreatment, post removal, perforation repair and more is all available. is This course is presented by faculty and residents of the UB School of Dental Medicine, Division of Endodontics.

You may choose to focus on any or all of the following topics...

* Access preparation

* Finding canals

* Cleaning and shaping with hand files and/or rotary instrumentation

* Obturation with mechanical warm vertical condensation techniques

* Retreatment

* Perforation repair

* Ultrasonics and post retrieval

* Use of the operating microscope as it relates to non-surgical root canal therapy

Please bring any extracted teeth in any condition if at all possible. We ask you to autoclave the teeth then store in 50% water and 50% mouthwash.  DO NOT STORE IN BLEACH, the teeth will decalcify. Do not let the teeth dry out, they will desiccate and fracture.

Participants should bring loops, WE WILL PROVIDE EVERYTHING ELSE. This course is truly worth the value. Participation is absolutely limited.
